Specific areas I find interesting in CS are Front/Back-End Engineering, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. <br class=""><br class="">-Erin H Hovendon: I would prefer to focus on research/lab work that is somehow connected to climate change, energy, or sustainability, but I'd get excited about any project.<br class=""><br class="">-Joy S Bhattacharya: Ideally, I would like to work for a company or government agency where I could gain experience with economic/financial research by analyzing data, building models, interviewing people, and so forth. I’m very interested in developmental economics, environmental economics, and public policy.<br class=""><br class="">-Gabriel Guillen: Overall I would want to be around some kind of engineering, predominantly mechanical, computer-science, or electrical engineering since those relate most closely to my prospective major, but again I am very open to whatever opportunities there are. One of my big goals along with gaining work or research experience through this program is to also improve my Spanish and become fluent<br class=""><br class="">-Aniesha Dyce: I am looking for an internship that is focused on harvesting renewable energy, or one that allows me to work with a vehicle, watercraft, or aircraft. My ideal internship would be one where I get to learn new skills and work on a project where I can see tangible results by the end.
