[Investigadores] Postdoctoral Positions at O'Higgins University, Chile

 We offer postdoctoral positions in Stochastic Programming, renewable for
up to 2 years, at the University of O'Higgins, Chile.

The selected candidates are expected to contribute to theoretical and
numerical research regarding Optimization and Stochastic Programming. The
researchers are expected to have proficiency in programming.

The research team is located in Rancagua, Chile. The selected candidate
will collaborate with the O’Higgins Optimization Research Group
http://o2rg.cl/

Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in mathematics, ideally with an
emphasis on optimization or related areas (continuous optimization,
operations research, stochastic programming, variational analysis, etc.).
The degree must have been obtained during the last five years or is
expected to be obtained by February 2024. The candidate must also be fluent
in English, especially in writing (no Spanish required).

Payment will be made through a monthly installment (pre-tax) of
CLP$1,800,000 Chilean pesos (approximately US$2070 monthly / US$24,840 per
year, depending on the exchange rate).

proposal (2 pages), a sample of publications or written work, a CV, and the
name and contact information of two recommenders.

date is March 2024, but applications will be reviewed until the position is
filled.
